We are identical twins, so identical that our own dad can’t even tell us apart. Don’t ask us who was born first because we haven’t a clue. When our mother went to take us home from the hospital both of our identification bracelets said Lisha. When she asked the doctor which one was born first he said we don’t know. So we got mixed up in the hospital and nobody knows who is the oldest by 30 minutes. Actually just having twins was a big surprise to our mom because the doctors told her she was going to have a big boy. In the delivery room everyone including the doctor was shocked to find 3 pound twins.
Being Twins has been fun so far. Just in case you are wondering and we know you are because everyone asks- Yes we have gone on dates and have told them we were the other twin. Yes- one of us has taken both tests twice in school and had switched classes. All the fun things you can imagine I am sure we have done it. There are definite advantages to being twins. One good thing is that you always have a best friend and a business partner. We had a lot of friends growing up because we were 2 of 5 girls and we have a half brother. We grew up in San Diego where we participated in dance, gymnastics, performing arts and cheerleading. We continued our education by going to college and being cheerleaders.
After college we traveled abroad and then after our travels we moved to Los Angeles to pursue our careers in Entertainment. Our first job was being the stunt and body doubles for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in some of the movies. As we continued in this field we realized that work was not steady and that we needed to build a steady income. We lived off our credit cards the times we weren’t working and the balances kept getting bigger until we had maxed out every card we had. We quickly learned creative financing by paying one card off with the other, soon to realize it wasn’t so creative and we were in deep trouble. Lucky for us at this time we got introduced to referral marketing. Also lucky for us we knew a little bit about this type of business because we had watched our mother raise a family of 5 daughters by building this type of business from her home. Not only did she buy our family a beautiful home and expensive cars, she also was able to put all her girls through college with the soul income of her business. We quickly went to working using the principles we had seen work for our mother and other top executives that we knew.
The good news is when you have a pattern for success and you follow that pattern the results are that you are successful too. This pattern for success has been repeated by us and has always resulted in our becoming top female income earners. It took us about 16 months to reach the highest rank in the company International Marketing Director with over a 12,000 plus reps in our team. We were the first women to hit the highest rank in the company. Now the company pays for our house and our car on top of our income! It has been an amazing experience to work with such an incredible team which we all know it is the power of a team that creates success!
