Christy Powers

Christy Powers is a Hollywood, California born native who has taken the pulse of her Chatsworth community for over 15 years, providing unsurpassed expertise and care to the Motion Picture Industry working on major feature films as well as an eight year stretch on the popular television show “24” starring Kiefer Sutherland.

After graduating at the top of her class from Nursing School and working on her BSN degree, this honor roll student with perfect attendance became a Trauma Nurse, working in the Emergency Room, I.C.U, Obstetrics, and on Hollywood movie productions as the Set Supervising Nurse as well as a Medical Consultant.

“We are so fortunate in World Ventures to attract some of the highest quality of people. Christy Powers is one such example, besides the major role she played in the last months of Kim Eaton's life, which shows the compassion she has for others, she is also brave in a monumental way as demonstrated when she was one of the first responders on the Chatsworth train disaster, the largest crash in Metrolink history on September 12, 2008. Initially, officials were unsure if this was accident or act of terror, and at what risk were those that were responding to help the victims. Christy was at home blocks away from the crash site about to head out to our Acceleration training in Burbank that afternoon. Without concern for her own safety, Christy selflessly headed straight into the burning train wreck of 225 critically injured passengers, saving many lives by administering airways and aid tirelessly into the night. Naturally she missed the training that Friday night, but was there Saturday morning! This is dedication, bravery & leadership at its best.”   Judalon Smyth, Marketing Director

If you ask Christy the reason behind her drive to succeed, she will give you 3.  Justin, Cameron, and Kaitlyn. Christy is the proud single mom of 3 outstanding children.  Before being introduced to WorldVentures, she was extremely busy as a full time single mom managing her family on her income alone.  While she earned a 6 figure income as a nurse on the set, an unexpected work injury occurred leaving her unable to walk for 6 months and unable to work.  Not prepared for her income to stop abruptly, she quickly realized that she needed a residual income to match her residual bills. Christy’s answer appeared at a Dr.’s office lobby by way of a business card she had picked up. She became interested immediately and started with WorldVentures in its beginning days.  After hearing WorldVentures Director of Training Marc Accetta, she knew she had found a way to get the time and financial freedom she was looking for.

Christy has built her business on a very part time basis and is receiving a residual income monthly whether she works or not.  Christy now has all the time she wants with her children and has been on several vacations each year with her family.

Christy credits her success to the amazing training of Marc Accetta and the motivation, guidance, and leadership from her mentors Martin Ruof and Judalon Smyth and the dedication and support of Debra Soukup.

"As a Nurse, I have helped bring new life into the world, I have saved people’s lives, and I have helped people die.  My goal now is to help people LIVE.  With WorldVentures I have found a way to make a living...helping people live."     Christy Powers, Director
